Inspiring

very-inspiring-blogger-award

I’m so very grateful (and again honoured) to have been nominated for the ‘Very Inspiring Blogger’ award. Thank you Michelle – I am proud to display this on Jemverse, and to have the opportunity to nominate some other equally deserving bloggers.

To accept this award, awardees must

  • Display the award on their blog
  • Announce their win with a blog post and thank the blogger who made the nomination
  • Present 10 deserving bloggers with the award
  • Link the awardees in the post and let them know of their nomination with a comment (or ping-back)
  • Include an embedded video of their current favourite song

My nominations are to these blogs, each of which I follow…

  1. The Red Box – wonderful poetry
  2. Cave of Fame – fascinating insights into the world of music
  3. Deep in the Music – for introducing me to a world of new music
  4. Trifles & Trinkets by the Sea – because Sal has been my inspiration for over 36 years
  5. Where words daily come alive – inspiring poetry
  6. FlippyZipFlop – a heartwarming blog
  7. WordyPenguin – exquisite poems and a fantastic blog name
  8. Dokurtybitz – fascinating poetry
  9. Lemanshots – wonderful pictures
  10. Yoshiko – quirky and idiosyncratic verse

And for my favourite song at the moment – here’s ‘Keep on Swinging’ from the Rival Sons’ 2012 album ‘Headown’

Thanks very much-I plan on doing a post about this…, and just so you know- I was a Suffolk lad first—we moved to the States when I was 12. (yeah, a few moons ago at this point, but still love the sea)
