Luxuriant this time of year
the grass is verdant green
And unless I am mistaken
looks the best it’s ever been

It’s thick and lush and lovely
and loves the springtime sun
which bathes it in a golden light
until the day is done

Love the freshness of lush green grass…nature at her best…a visual feast!
    Another great poem.

The grass is such a lovely sight
And one I love to see
But, what with rain, and sun so bright,
It grows too fast for me!

Spring is such a pleasant time of year. There’s something about fresh green grass after a long winter that puts an added spring to your step. Great poem!
