Zed II

I’ve reached the end of A to zed
with something every day
A poem for the alphabet
in my own special way
I’ve exercised a license
as we poets often do
But I’d like to think the end result
has been encouraging for you

It’s been a real challenge
but I’ve enjoyed the writing thing
Finding ways to give a smile
and a little pleasure bring
This is the end of April
Tomorrow is another day
But there’s be a lot more poems
throughout the month of May

So now we have reached letter zed,
And honourably, it must be said.
    I’m happy to see
That you don’t call it ‘zee’
But stick with the British instead.
