These Words

These words on a page
in my little book
I’ll return to again
for another good look
As I’ll craft them and
often I’ll rearrange
for the syntax to work
from a nuance or change
And then when I’m happy
with what my words say
I’ll give them a name
and call it a day

I enjoyed the smile These Words gave me, nearly as much as I did those words. Bravo.

Yes, always a good idea to set it aside, have another look later, and after viewing afresh, make the improvements your tired eyes missed the day before.
