Very nice to have the time
Bake some bread which turned out fine
Sit a while in the sunshine
On my Friday off

Play the songs I want to hear
At lunchtime have a drop of beer
Full of life and full of cheer
On my Friday off

Watch a movie on TV
Stroke the dog, asleep on me
With my feet up, cup of tea
On my Friday off

Join the dog and have a nap
Later on a fresh bread snack
I really am a lucky chap
On my Friday off
